So I read an article talking about the new sex offender registry that hit the web yesterday. I noticed Utah was one of the states that joined in by providing their sex offender information. I decided to go take a look and see how many offenders might be in my neighborhood. Well, I never found out. For some reason I kept getting the “Conditions of Use” page. I kept clicking the “I agree” button but most of the time it would bring up that same page again. I was eventually able to get to the search page but after putting in the criteria and clicking on the “Search” button I ended up back at the “Conditions of Use” page. I am on a Mac and have use Firefox and Safari. Have they made the mistake of making this a IE only site? Maybe they just did a horrible job on the site and put it up before making sure it worked.
Update:
The registry web site I am referring to is the one put up by the Department of Justice (nsopr.gov) that went up yesterday.
